This band is just getting better and better I find...however, I'm really interested in their guitars. They are both playing ESPs from Japan...each probably costing around $4000-5000USD. Wish I had the skills and money to get one of those hehe.

This pic is so cool hahaha, it shows off the detailed vine inlays :)

Along with my Couch guitar strap just for it :P hehe, space invaders!

It is a neck-through guitar, meaning that the neck goes all the way to the end of the body. This makes the guitar feel incredibly solid and has great upper fret access!

Great guitar which can pretty much play anything. The vine inlays are incredibly detailed and is a very nice touch. It's got a pretty flat radius with giant frets so it helps it when you're trying to shred or play fast, but I've really found that it's great for any kind of music I've tried playing on it :)

Did some small mods to my Ibanez S470 :)

Here's how it looked earlier this evening:

I had got some new red knobs recently :) Just for fun haha

I ordered some inlay stickers just for fun as well! 

You have to cut them out first, then rub them with the transfer tape still on, the remove the backing paper and apply it to the guitar. Lots and lots of rubbing >.<

Looks pretty neat though!

Put on some D'Addario XL 10-46 strings too :) New strings make the guitar sound so much better!

The pickups are custom hand-wound pickups from BG pups too :) They sound absolutely amazing :D

Finally finish the first OVA of Gundam Unicorn, for those haven't seen the episode yet, I will make sure not to spoil everything yet(Yes, I am pointing at you, snow!)

Since there is still not a compatible version for me to capture the screenshot, I will first write my review, the pictures will be posted soon after.

First of all, just summarize a little bit the background of this story. Gundam unicorn is a light novel written by Harutoshi Fukui(福井晴敏), contains 10 volumes in total. The novel is ended at August 26th 2009. The story returns to the traditional UC timeline, the author tries to complete the blank period between "Char's Counter Attack" and "The Flash of Hathaway". 

The first OVA stops at about the half of the second volume.

Few comments after I watched the first OVA:


1. At the explosion of the Laplace Federation President Residence: Come on I know show is a bit are short of time, but the explosion of the terrorists spaceship is a bit too harsh? >< if you haven't read the novel, you wouldn't know that the terrorists were betrayed by their organization, in order to keep the whole terrorist attack event in secret.
2. The illusion of Syam Vist had when he was wandering in the outerspace about the Operation Great Britain is completely deleted. Where in the novel, he saw a group of Zaku-II escorting the wasted colony in its way to the earth.
3. I believe Banagher Links has mis-read Gundam W's script and thought himself being in the role of Heero Yuy, in the novel, he doesn't know any Kung-Fu, rather, he helped Audrey Burne to escape from Marida Cruz with luck.


Besides of that, I think the OVA is at pretty high quality especially the battle scene. It made me wanna buy a Kshatriya home. >M<


Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn's OP 流星のナミダ

The first post is always the hardest...you want to be funny and witty...you want to write something smart to bring your only reader (for now lol) back for more. So what will this blog be about? It will start as a joint blog by snow (me) and hayashi talking about our hobbies and interests, and hopefully serve as a log of amusing stories as we go about living our lives.
