Downloadable quest release on Jan 22 against monster "Hapurubokka." (潜口竜ハプルボッカ)

After defeating the monster, materials that are necessary to make the "Snake Series"(スネークシリーズ) Equipment for Male character and "The Boss Series"(ザ・ボスシリーズ) for female character will be obtained.

Not only the appearance of the suit reminds us the original series, the voice actor will also change from player selected voice to 大塚明夫 and 井上喜久子, the original voice actor of "Snake" and "The Boss." it is said that interesting abilities will also be equipped.

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd has been released for a week already. I believe that a lot of people have already reached upper rank. (while I am still fighting hard to capture insects in the field)

Just want to take this chance here to tell all my hunter friends to have a break every 50 minutes of hunting! Otherwise you will be like the girl as illustrated in the below picture~

A good news for all hardcore fan of Monster Hunters, the release of Monster Hunter Portable third is finally fixed on December 1st 2010.

Moreover, for those who live in Japan, you would have chance to have a first hand demo play at Tokyo's Game Show 2010, held on 16th to 19th of this month.

The following three mission are available at the show:

 The thing that draws more attention is the last mission: A Tigarex's Variation!!

One of our favorite games, Monster Hunter, can be extremely cruel. In fact, it is rumored that there is a mind-reading chip inside the PSP and figures out what item you really want, so it can make sure not to give it to you so you keep playing. However, once in a while, you can get a whole bunch of rare items...as illustrated here by Hayashi's pic:

While three sky scales might not seem that big of a deal, Hayashi had been trying to get sky scales prior to this hunt for a veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy long time (to the point where I now have 20+ from helping him hunt). Either way, he was super excited when he saw his rewards.

More information was unveiled by Konami yesterday:
A special stage called Island of Monsters will be added to Peace Walker, in which not modern soldiers but primitive Monsters would be Snake's foes. Furthermore, Ainu the feline will provide ammo to the users just as the warfare merchandise in the past series.

Here is another game coming from the Monster Hunter franchise.



In this game, we can use MH's most beloved mascot Airu(アイル) to experience a totally different wild life in MH world from a more lovely perspective. These lovely felines, all with distinguishing characters, can farm, gather, fish, mine and group hunt like what hunters usually do in the main series. 

Interaction with Monster Hunter 2nd G is also supported. If your have a 2ndG's save data, good news is that you don't need to restart a new cat. Your old, favorite companion could be transferred to this game and start a new life in a different world with the same name, species, atk/def power, etc...

Another big different from the original series is, the game has changed from a realistic style to a more cartoonish style, people who love MH, cats, cats and more cats should really try this game out.

This game will be released at August 2010.

Capcom had opened a conference today(16th) afternoon at Tokyo to announce the scheduled release date and more information on the upcoming release of their famous game franchise: Monster Hunter.

As expected, it will be its portable version, a.k.a. Monster Hunter Portable 3RD!
After a year of waiting, here it comes finally... = ="

Here are more updates on the MHP3rd rumors:

System:
1. Swimming system, battle in water will be added.
2. Mocca Village will be the new hometown.
3. Mocca Forest will replace the farm to be the new area for offline gathering.
4. Monster Hunter Tri's Online gathering town Lockulark will be discarded.
5. Hunter rank will be more than 9.
6. Key Quest will also be increased for a raise of difficulty.

Monster:
1. All monster appeared in Tri will be included in its portable version.
2. There will be new variations for the existing races.
3. 1 to 2 new monsters will also be added (unconfirmed).

Weapon/Armor:
1. Double sword, Gunlance, hunting horn will all be back in MHP3rd.
2. Due to the high throughput of battle axe in MH Tri, the offensive power of this weapon will be lowered.
3. Bowgun system in MH Tri will be retained(combination of parts).

The game is believed to be released at the end of this year, this assumption is based on the fact that the two other games of the same franchise "Monster Hunter Online" for Xbox 360 and "Monster Hunter Dairy: Poka Poka Airu Village" for PSP is going to release at the middle of this year, Capcom would not want these games to compete with each other.
