Finally finish the first OVA of Gundam Unicorn, for those haven't seen the episode yet, I will make sure not to spoil everything yet(Yes, I am pointing at you, snow!)

Since there is still not a compatible version for me to capture the screenshot, I will first write my review, the pictures will be posted soon after.

First of all, just summarize a little bit the background of this story. Gundam unicorn is a light novel written by Harutoshi Fukui(福井晴敏), contains 10 volumes in total. The novel is ended at August 26th 2009. The story returns to the traditional UC timeline, the author tries to complete the blank period between "Char's Counter Attack" and "The Flash of Hathaway". 

The first OVA stops at about the half of the second volume.

Few comments after I watched the first OVA:


1. At the explosion of the Laplace Federation President Residence: Come on I know show is a bit are short of time, but the explosion of the terrorists spaceship is a bit too harsh? >< if you haven't read the novel, you wouldn't know that the terrorists were betrayed by their organization, in order to keep the whole terrorist attack event in secret.
2. The illusion of Syam Vist had when he was wandering in the outerspace about the Operation Great Britain is completely deleted. Where in the novel, he saw a group of Zaku-II escorting the wasted colony in its way to the earth.
3. I believe Banagher Links has mis-read Gundam W's script and thought himself being in the role of Heero Yuy, in the novel, he doesn't know any Kung-Fu, rather, he helped Audrey Burne to escape from Marida Cruz with luck.


Besides of that, I think the OVA is at pretty high quality especially the battle scene. It made me wanna buy a Kshatriya home. >M<

After the countdown, we finally got to know the newest series of the versus series: Kidou Senshi Gundam: Extreme Versus. It will be release on 2010 autumn, on undetermined platform.

From the background images of the official site, we can see various Gundams across different centuries:

Here are more updates on the MHP3rd rumors:

System:
1. Swimming system, battle in water will be added.
2. Mocca Village will be the new hometown.
3. Mocca Forest will replace the farm to be the new area for offline gathering.
4. Monster Hunter Tri's Online gathering town Lockulark will be discarded.
5. Hunter rank will be more than 9.
6. Key Quest will also be increased for a raise of difficulty.

Monster:
1. All monster appeared in Tri will be included in its portable version.
2. There will be new variations for the existing races.
3. 1 to 2 new monsters will also be added (unconfirmed).

Weapon/Armor:
1. Double sword, Gunlance, hunting horn will all be back in MHP3rd.
2. Due to the high throughput of battle axe in MH Tri, the offensive power of this weapon will be lowered.
3. Bowgun system in MH Tri will be retained(combination of parts).

The game is believed to be released at the end of this year, this assumption is based on the fact that the two other games of the same franchise "Monster Hunter Online" for Xbox 360 and "Monster Hunter Dairy: Poka Poka Airu Village" for PSP is going to release at the middle of this year, Capcom would not want these games to compete with each other.

(Although way back at the release of Gundam VS Gundam's Arcade version, Capcom had already stated that it would be their last work on Versus series =  =")

e)Super Robot vs. Real Robot (featuring Evangelion, Getter Robo, Mazinger and RyujinMaru???) (Banpresto's SRW officially joins the franchise!!!~)

No matter what, we will get to know the answer in a bit more than a week.

The parts are all glued together and hopefully I could paint the first layer tomorrow.

Do you know how much of an IT Operation person you are?
Here are 10 indications to give you some idea:

1. When you see a command prompt, you want to type ls.
2. You want to get an application form to open a port in a firewall when you have difficulty chatting with your girlfriend.
3. You complain that there is no "grep" command when you are looking for pennies in your purse/bag at the cash.
4. Whenever you are asked to enter a user account name, you enter "root".
5. When you think that wc does not mean water closet but rather word count.
6. You saved all you bill receipts, old friends' new telephone numbers, and your girl friend's birthday into a notepad file along with your server's IP address in My Documents rather than memorizing them.
7. You schedule a cronjob on your UNIX server to remind you of your parent's birthday dinner.
8. Whenever you see a command prompt, you want to ping your Office IP address to see if it is connected.
9. Suite from 8, you also want to try if "remote desktop" to your own computer is allowed.
10. You think that cat is a reading command rather than an animal with four paws.

Let's talk about some Modelling goods today.

It all starts in an evening when I walked in a familiar model shop to look for paints. I was looking something for that could serve as a base of a weapon and this was what caught my attention:

The product line is M.S.G, stands for Modelling Support Goods from Kotobukiya, sold at 315(Yen)(double the price in HK T_T), reasonable price for its great variety of gimmicks:

Just look at the Long Rifle mode, does it remind you of a famous MS?(hint: initials = SF)

Even though it is labeled to be at 1/144 scale, it fits pretty well with the 1/100 Gunplas and here is the proof:

A bit late for my first post. I really didn't expect my partner Snow to be that productive...

Anyway, enough excuse, from now on, I will be updating this blog in a more regular basis(although doesn't sound too much promising... T_T)

This is my first post, and this year is the 30th Anniversary of GUNPLA. To celebrate this special moment, I have put five MG gunpla together and took the above pictures. Do you recognize all five of them? (Hint: They are all from UC century)
